POBD Photogenic Contest is a part of Love Campaign for Bangladesh. It is dedicated to and for a better Bangladesh.  It is a beauty contest but this is not a traditional beauty contest where the soul purpose of the contest is to win over beauty. It is a contest that conveys the message to the rest of the population that we all are passionate for a better Bangladesh and we will not stop working hard until we find Bangladesh a better place for us and for our future generation. It is the contest for the beautiful and talented people who steps forward and demand Bangladesh a better place.

How the contest works?

POBD Photogenic contest is an online contest. Contestants join online and POBD shot them for the contest. The contest involves two photo shoot. One is outdoor, which takes place just after registration. In the second stage there is a studio photo shoot and a video interview, where they have the chance to express their view and share their talent and personality.

How the contest goes to final stage?

The contest finishes with a prize giving ceremony. Where winners are declared based one vote from online judges and judges from the panel.

What is the prize for the winners?

The prize for POBD Photogenic Contest 2010 is air ticket for Sydney-Dhaka-Sydney.

Who are the judges?

POBD have a panel of judges for the contest whose name are on the rules and condition pages.

How can anyone be an online judge?

Anyone can be an online judge with the contest, subject to online registration and judges guideline. In public voting place anyone can choose to be an online judge.

I like modeling and also want to join the contest but I have never have done anything like this before. I don’t know what would be the social impact of my involvement. What would POBD advise me?

When you are joining POBD Photogenic contest you are promoting Bangladesh. Living overseas and showing your passion for a better Bangladesh in a unique way would be something to feel proud of and it could be a great experience.
