After a historical victory of Bangladesh Awami league, that led Bangladesh liberation war and which have more than 50 years of experience also had leaders like Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Awami league seems to be not sure of what they are. A simple question “is there anybody in Bangladesh who does not know Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman”. Even the illiterate person from a remote village where there is no electricity for his son to study at night he knows who is Sheikh Mujib and he can recognise Sheikh Mujib among many pictures. I believe everyone will agree with me. And it is true, People of Bangladesh knows Bangabandhu, seniors may have seen him but young generation knows him from their everyday life. Does any body have any doubt about it? People of Bangladesh have given recognition to Bangabandhu and his daughter Sheikh Hasina. They have given his daughter authority to govern the country and in return they expect a good life, where they can be safe, get proper health care, can educate their children and feel proud to be a Bengali. But does this truth is understood by the policy makers of Awami league? It doesn’t seem to be. When our Universities are shutting down one after another and people spending time in dark without electricity day after day they decides to make Bangabandhu a big event to the nation. In a recent govt. Regulation every govt institute have to have picture of Bangabandhu and Prime minister. It seems like government is trying to teach the nation who is Bangabandhu and Sheikh Hasina. For them I would like to say that “We know who is Bangabandhu and who is Sheikh Hasina, but we don’t know why we have to have our universities and colleges being shut down and why we have live without electricity at night” We have sent you to the govt. To make sure our children can have a proper environment in their School - not being killed, you suppose to make our children educated and make them future asset for the country not leaving them in dark in front of their Books. Awami league policy makers need to stop guessing their position. If anybody have any doubt, they can go out any were in Bangladesh and ask anybody if they are not sure of and they will find that its time to spend more time on giving people back in return of their love and support to Awami league but not to advertise themselves.
